Why are "Main Streets" important and why should community leaders be actively supporting revitalization programs? Presentation will illustrate basic Main Street concepts along with discussion on how Main Street efforts can be effective in restoring balance, economic growth, environmental health, quality of life, and a sense of place to a community. Examples of tools used be community leaders to support revitalization efforts will be incorporated.
